Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze for the balance beam. This meant that she was the first American to compete at an Olympics who had the most amount of medals. She and her teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to take home back-to-back golds in team events. In addition, she was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around and for floor exercise. Between the two Olympics the athlete took a break. Her gold medal winning American team also won the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport since age of 2 and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly is a part of her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her grandmother. Aly hopes to achieve the opportunity to have a career that is successful as a fashion designer. Her signature leotards as well as socks, and other clothing are expected to be enlarged to include other items in the future. Fierce is a novel she is writing will come out this year.
